Crock Meter – Hand Operated

The equipment is operated by a gear motor, and the arm moves in an oscillating motion over the test specimen with a specified load & diameter (approximately of a fore-finger). The rubbing finger has a flat base which is covered with a piece of standard white crocking cloth, which in turn is held by a stainless steel spring clip and is made to move over the test sample in an oscillating motion.

The rubbing finger has a flat base which is covered with a piece of standard white crocking cloth, which in turn is held by a stainless steel spring clip and is made to move over the test sample in an oscillating motion. The crocking cloth picks up the color lost by the sample under test. A 3 digit reset counter is provided to enable it to take the desired number of rubs and the same is displayed on the digital counter. The Test specimen is held by the Abrasive paper with the help of an acrylic plate mounted on the solid base and the equipment is finished with a metallic paint adding to its aesthetic appeal.
